The Hoisington Historical Society was founded in 1996, but was not active until a location for a museum was donated to the Society in December of 1999. The building was built in 1905, and has undergone extensive remodeling.

The six-room, one bathroom structure is home to a variety of displays and memorabilia showcasing our proud history from the birth of Hoisington to present day, through our many growing pains and our greatest achievements.

The Hoisington Historical Museum is located at 120 East Second, and is free of charge. The museum is open the first and third Saturdays of each month from 1 to 3 PM.
