The Hoisington Public Library is housed in the Hoisington City Building, built as a WPA project in 1939.

The library is located at 169 S. Walnut.

Library Director Pat Brown works carefully with the students and residents of the community to keep the library’s stacks of books full of their favorite volumes of prose and poetry, and has facilitated the addition of new, public-access computers for research and education.

The library’s hours are:

Monday 10am - 6pm
Tuesday Noon - 6pm
Wednesday 10am - 6pm
Thursday Noon - 6pm
Friday Noon - 6pm
Saturday Noon - 4pm
